Is it possible to hide my amazon basket?

My son uses a kindle fire that is linked up to my amazon account. He’s just shown me a notification he got about something I had added to my amazon basket. I looked and he had already clicked through to my basket so could see the contents which included stuff I’m buying him from “Santa”. He didn’t seem to notice them but I don’t want to risk him seeing them in future. Is it possible to hide the basket or do I just need to remove everything?

Do you have a family account ?

If so this might help www.theglassbabybottle.com/blog/keep-amazon-order-history-secret/

Thank you- we do have family but I think he has been using his kindle under my profile which is why he was getting the notifications. Will change it now.

Set up a kids profile for him. This is what I have for my DC. They can't get into my profile without my PIN and I can control the apps they have as well.

You can also take his tablet/phone off the linked devices on your account. So he will need to log back in again. So use this as a chance to change the password too!!

You can hide orders and recommendations but not the basket itself.

You can turn off notifications itself.

I would just set up a kids profile.
