Any dentists around? Not sure if this pain is normal?

I had a filling done this morning with LA. It was bottom right and the injection went into my cheek almost where my jaws meet, if that makes sense. It was unusually painful but all was fine.

The 'freeze' has worn off now but I have increasing pain on/around the injection site and I can't open my mouth more than a few centimeters, it just won't open. I have no sign of infection, I'm otherwise well. Is this just normal pain after an injection? I've had quite a lot of work done with LA but never experienced this.

Normal I’m afraid. It’s trismus of the muscle as a result of the anaesthetic/ injection. It will heal over time
