@Oakmaiden and the other posters - I wasn't implying what they were doing was funny or knocking their beliefs but their control over that hose was funny.

IMO Extinction Rebellion is pretty poor as protest movements go for several reasons that I can't be arsed to elaborate on, but at least they're trying to do something to push for the massive changes needed at the national/international level. Meanwhile the rest of us just go on with our massive carbon footprints and debate Brexit. I expect future generations may look upon the clowns of ER more kindly than the populace at large.
