Is this OK, or is it a bit ugh?

Cleaning out the kitchen cake decorating cupboard this afternoon and found some Tesco rum flavouring. Undated, but the label is what I would describe as vintage and at the bottom of the writing it says (C) Tesco 1987.

It smells a bit funny Envy

Please tell me I'm not the only person who finds things like this lurking at the back of cupboards...

Send it to a guy called Ashens on YouTube - he videos himself eating out of date food. It's hilarious, particularly the fifty year old whole chicken in a can one Smile

That’s impressive. The best I can do is 2003 for some Fenugreek.

Picture please, I'd love to see the retro packaging

A bit ugh if you’re going to use it...

My gran was the same ... cupboards full of biscuits and dried food from 1970s onwards. She had food from supermarkets that had gone into administration . Still has fine fair carrier bags ...

Grandpa had a timeline of Terry’s chocolate oranges going back to 1992 ... discovered n 2018 ... along with dozens of half bottles of whisky, vodka, brandy, drambuie ...

My great grandparents were significantly worse in that they had medicines (morphine, liniments, elixirs) and household cleaning stuff going back 70 years , and a pan of ?vegetable soup that was discovered two years after she’d been taken into a home ... soup was bubbling nicely under the kitchen sink ...
