My son has just received a bill to pay nearly £400 in dental treatment. He ticked the box for ‘named on tax credits’ but they have rejected it. I still received child tax credit for him on the dates in question and indeed right up until 31st August. Surely receiving tax credits for him meant he was covered? He’s just left for uni and really can’t afford this
