Lumpy boobs

Sort for the ridiculous thread title but just that - how are you supposed to check your breasts for lumps when they are already lumpy?! I have very dense breast tissue and both are really lumpy throughout.

I just don't see how I can self check!!

I have exactly the same issue.

I did have a small painful lump and went to hospitL breast unit. The male consultant that checked me commented on how lumpy I am naturally and said it's very common.

Turned out my lump was a hormone type one. I know this because every month when I'm ovulating or just before my period I can time it by the lump

I was offered a removal procedure but at the time I had already had a surgery for something else and didn't want to go through it again.

They are just covered in lumps all over. I have no idea how I'd know if something was amiss.
