I've put my winter coat on for the first time this season.
I found a pair of gloves and half a packet of halls throat sweets (cherry)
What have been your finds?

I haven't got mine out yet so will be interesting to see. I'm hoping I find my wedding ring.

Not quite the same but still remember my joy at finding a 10 shilling note in the pocket of my school blazer (only worn in summer term)

LBOCS2 · 02/10/2019 08:30

A fiver, a button, three 'interesting' stones and a lip balm.

wendz86 · 02/10/2019 08:30

Some weird pair of lips (party bag blower thing ) , a simpsons keyring , a hairband and a shell .

MsMightyTitanAndHerTroubadours · 02/10/2019 08:31

I always have poo bags in all pockets of all coats, and bags!

I did find my favourite reading specs, a pile of change and my best red lipstick in the leather jacket I wear on dh's bike last month when we went for a jaunt.

BiddyPop · 02/10/2019 08:33

I had a pocket find this morning in a pair of rarely worn trousers -€60! Cheered me right up!

Winter coat was a pair of gloves, a pair of latex gloves (first aider), half a pack of tissues and 2 elastic bands.

My summer rain coat also has a pair of first aid gloves and tissues most of the time...

Trewser · 02/10/2019 08:37

My winter horse mucking out coat - half a packet of polos (sticky), some baler twine and one latex glove.

My warm going to work coat, hair bobble, £5 (win!), lip balm, scrunched up lidl receipt

Heaviestdirtyestsoul · 02/10/2019 08:48

A spider the size of a fricking CD.

Hi

I just wanted advice on a bedside crib. I didn’t really want to buy a Moses basket as they don’t seem to last 2 mins in our family with all the babies being tall. I have seen the Joie Kubbie Sleep which is technically a travel cot but I wondered if this is something you would consider to be a safe option in place of a Moses basket? I can also use for when we travel as well so would help our budget.

KUGA · 02/10/2019 08:58

WHAT ? you found that in your winter coat pocket ?

KUGA · 02/10/2019 08:58

Crawley65 · 02/10/2019 08:59

pingoose · 02/10/2019 09:01

Sunglasses and drivers license, both of which I have been blaming DD for losing Grin

Plural · 02/10/2019 09:01

DriftingLeaves · 02/10/2019 09:01

Hand gel, Strepsils, receipt for Strepsils.

MorrisZapp · 02/10/2019 09:02

We used to have a 'coat cupboard' that was actually a pit of historic outerwear. Our parents said that anyone willing to clean and tidy it could keep any spoils found therein.

I made seventeen quid, in 1985. I just flung the EEC used tissue mountain in the bin.

ChippyMinton · 02/10/2019 09:03
