Inexpensive Bat Mitvah gift ideas needed?

I’m not going to the service or party It’s for the dd of a friend of a friend and I just want to get a card and a little gift to mark the occasion. Has anyone any idea what might be good? And for preferably around £10. Very stylish girl into sports, dance, music etc. I’m at a loss as to something not cheap and tacky but that won’t break the bank as I’m on the skint side right now. Thanks

Hamsa hand jewellery would be appropriate. I found these earrings for £10 on notonthehighstreet that come in a nice personalised presentation box: www.notonthehighstreet.com/graceandvalour/product/stencil-hamsa-stud-earrings-in-sterling-silver

As it's for a batmitzvah I'd probably get something she can keep, e.g. a small pair of earrings, or maybe a hardback book & bookmark.

Thanks so much. The earrings look great. I’m not sure I’d be confident to choose a book Cherry but it’s a good idea.

I was thinking a classic book, maybe Little Women.

Thanks Cherry I’ve ordered some tiny Hamsa earrings. Wouldn’t have thought of that without ThomasRichard.

Honestly I wouldn’t choose jewellery because she would have gotten that already (and probably really nice stuff too). You said she likes sports and music - is there anything particular that she enjoys? If so focus the gift around that. I agree books are a good idea.

Teddy I see your point but I’m too late to cancel earring order.
