Just intrigued to know if people are as weird as me.. I have ocd so this is probably why. I have. Thing about socks, every time i go somewhere and I see socks I like I buy them. I have a carrier bag of new socks so if one pair gets a whole I replace it with a new pair.
Also have the same thing with shower gels. Every time I see a new shower gel my brain is like buy it buy it 😂 I currently have 15 and non of them are the same.
So what’s your thing 😊

I have a thing for selling. I love Shpock and Ebay. I usually sell stuff we dont need anymore. When ever DS cant find anything he often asks "mom have you sold it because its missing" I also have a thing for buying at carboots and my DS is also hooked on them (think its because he knows he can get loads of toys for very little amount of money).

Tea of various kinds. Loose and bags. I drink gallons of tea.

Yarn for knitting and crochet, and fancy stitch markers, patterns and accessories.

Cross stitch and embroidery patterns and supplies. I have an embarrassing amount of thread boxes full of bobbins of embroidery thread. I love etsy for interesting patterns.

Skincare, Bath and shower stuff, makeup, perfume, general lotions and potions. I have a dressing table full of crap, and shelves above it, plus loads in the bathroom.

Those cheap fluffy soft chenille socks that are lovely and warm. I have loads of them, DD often steals them from my drawer as she's another one whose feet are always cold.

Books, I have a kindle, I got better with buying books for a while but we have a really good second hand book shop near us that I am incapable of walking past without buying a bag full of books.

Candles, they're everywhere.

Cat toys, also everywhere!

For me it is furnishing fabrics. I see one on a website and think, "I have to have that in my life." I have two large cupboards in my living room crammed with velvets, combed cottons and prints awaiting inspiration. I have become adept at mentally multiplying the vertical pattern repeat to work out how much I need to make long/short curtains and blinds, piped and oxford cushions.
I never buy them at full price! Several months ago I spotted a fabulous cotton/linen print on the John Lewis website, sent away for a sample to feel/inhale it and bided my time... I have just taken delivery of a large remnant from a seller on Ebay, enough to make a large and small roman blind for my son-to-be-painted kitchen. (Cost for 3m was less than the price of one rrp!)

Soon-to-be-painted. (Son will not be doing the painting!)

Clean socks. WOnderful, lovely, clean clean socks. I change socks about three times a day, and wear through them fast. So I have a lot :)

Maps, every time I visit a new place I buy a map. I have resisted buying 2nd hand maps of places I have no plan to visit. So far

I have antique maps framed on the walls.
