DS2 needs to dress up as an 8 letter word

Yup. You read that right. For literacy day in a couple of weeks time.

My mind is filthy and this sort of shit pisses me right off so please help.

Each year group is dedicated to a word length. Year 3 - 6 letters, year 4 - 7 letters etc etc.

On the day children will try to make a sentence combing their word and the words of other children in the school. Prizes will be awarded for the 'best dressed word' and for the most creative sentence formed on the day.

Give. Me. Strength.

I only wish he was in Yr4 so could go as FUCKOFF.

I thought Easter bonnets and random camel costumes at Christmas were bad enough with DS1. Clearly primary school have upped the ante in the last ten years
🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Please help GrinGrin

Bastards

Serious? (Ok, 7 and punctuation!!)

Just dress him all in black and print the word out.

Few more non-nouns

INSPECTS (in suit/school uniform, carrying Ofsted folder)
LEARNING (in regular school uniform, just looking extra keen)
ORDINARY (in regular school uniform)
STANDARD (ditto)
FAMILIAR (ditto)
EDUCATED (ditto)
ACADEMIC (ditto)

can you spot a theme? Grin

Nearly spat out my tea at CHILDREN btw. Genius....

JuneFromBethesda · 01/10/2019 22:13

(If it was my child's school I'd be cursing as well mind you Grin )

Gherkins!

Danglingmod · 01/10/2019 22:16

Alphabet is 8 letters... A t-shirt with all the letters scrawled on it?

I really like the idea of "misspelt" too (though I write "misspelled" 😂)

CherryPavlova · 01/10/2019 22:17

Suitcase would be easy.
Shepherd
Labrador

Swimsuit

PutYourBackIntoit · 01/10/2019 22:26

I would love this!! (For one year only)

Cucumber, Vibrator, Gherkiny...3 in 1 might get extra points!!

My input is 'squeezed'. Go with a monkey/lemur toy with Velcro hands around him. Or a snake around his neck.

duckling84 · 01/10/2019 22:34

Omg I love the cucumber idea! Please dress him up as a cucumber, I bet no one else will choose that either

DukeofSuffolk · 01/10/2019 22:36

Overcoat

PutYourBackIntoit · 01/10/2019 22:36

Or if he has Asthma, he could go as Wheezing!!

Others from dictionary that might work; Cobwebby, jangling, diazapan, wizardly, kickable....

Witchend · 01/10/2019 22:39

What about two four letter ones instead? Grin

CatalogueUniverse · 01/10/2019 22:40

Minister - paper collar black t shirt

SpockSmashesScissors · 01/10/2019 22:46

Mine did this last year, no limit on letters, they went as

Polycromatic - rainbow tutu and bright coloured clothes

RobinsParasiticEye · 01/10/2019 22:46

All this is making me think of sleeping

Attach loads of 💤 to him.
