How did you feel after your DH's vasectomy?

Mine's got his tomorrow.
Wondering if I'll feel any sadness even though I know we've wanted it for ages and def don't want any more kids.

I felt absolutely fine.

I was utterly devastatingly heartbroken for around 2 days after he had it done. Prior to it, we'd both 100% agreed (it was my idea!). I cried and cried for 8 hours solid when he came home from the surgery. It hit me like a train.

After that passed, absolutely fine! Definitely without a shadow of doubt it was the best thing for us. I think it was that fleeting bereavement for the 'what if' of a different future.

It totally caught me off guard mind so be mindful of how you might feel regardless of the right/wrong choice. Emotions and reactions can sometimes be totally irrational.
