After some advice please. I have a 6 year old mixed race girl with out of control hair 😩 I have tried so many products/ conditioners on it but nothing seems to tame it. She has some lovely curls but then the others are so frizzy and they drop to almost straight. Any help would be appreciated!

Have you tried doing twist outs? Wash and condition hair. Section hair and apply leave in conditioner to each section and twist. Cover hair with silk cap overnight and untwist and separate each twist the next day. There are lots of videos on YouTube and some show how to finish each twist to ensure a nice curl.

Hello there. First make sure you're using non sulphate shampoo. Then limit actual washing with shampoo to once a week but wet (soak in the bath) with plenty of conditioner 2/3 times a week. Dry by just squeezing with a micro fibre towel or cotton t-shirt. Squeeze through some leave in conditioner ('as I am' is my current favourite). Comb through with a wide toothed comb from ends to root. Then cover with olive oil mixed with coconut oil (not much), use an old pair of tights to cover when she sleeps. Each day spray with water then rub in leave in conditioner. You'll need to work out how much her hair needs. Mine needs loads but the less coarse it is the less she'll need. If it's ever going bonkers, dunk in water, condition and start again. Most issues are due to dryness.
