Do you ever turn the temperature of yours up or down depending on your cooking needs? Ours runs constantly on around 4.5 which takes it to the optimum temperature, however, it drinks oil and our oil bills are astronomical. I’m wondering whether we would make much of a saving on oil consumption by knocking it back to say, 2, overnight and then ramping it back up to 4.5 in the morning - or will it do any damage?
Does anyone do this? Thanks.
