What is the most delicious pen to write stories with?
This is for a 12 year old, so nothing too expensive.

Be careful with the frixons, especially if they're penning something they want to keep. Heat will erase the ink I'm told.
I love my pilot v5 for general use. A fountain is nice but I'd ask if they want a fountain first, as they are a bit different.
What are they using it for? Penning stories or practising fancy lettering?

Kaweco Perkeo! They're about £15ish, come in smooth medium nibs and nicely scratchy fine nibs - I stocked up last time Cult Pens had a sale and now have them in my pencil case with brown, navy, purple and red inks. and some spare in the drawer

Disclaimer: I have a job where I can claim stationery as justifiable expense.

@Oblomov19 I was just thinking the same. I lost mine I think it was year 6 we all got our own black one with our names etched on. I am out of practice writing in italics as the secondary school I went to wouldn't allow us to write like that.

Lamy, definitely
They write so smoothly
