What should I do with the spare room?

I have a spare box room that we are not really using apart from to store a load of crap.
I cleared all the stuff today and now I don’t have a clue what to do with it.
We rarely have guests to stay so a bedroom is a waste.

Any ideas?

Well what rooms do you already have? How many people in the house? What are your interests?

Not very rock and roll but I turned mine in to a laundry room . We didn't have room downstairs for a tumble dryer, so put it in the box room with a clothes horse and ironing board which stays up all the time. Its quite nice being ale you shut the door on it all.

We had a spare room that we kitted out as an extra lounge. A really comfy sofa, a TV, was especially cosy in winter we sometimes fell asleep in there!

We have bedrooms etc, everyone has one to themselves. Our bedroom has a mini office in it and we have an office outside (sounds fancier than it is!).

I like exercising but can’t see me doing it upstairs.

Shall I just give it to my cats?

Does anyone work from home - study
Kids/teens - playroom/den
Hobbies - craft room
Need peace - decorate exactly how you want, comfy armchair, book shelf or extra telly

I like horsemums suggestion! I would love that.

Definitely a second TV room if you’re already sorted on the office front

We have a film room / teen hangout/ occasional guest room - works well and keeps the main living room nice for grown ups

Rent it out to a foreign exchange student?
