To use a days annual leave for this

I’ve got 5 days to use before the end of the year.
I’ve already got Christmas leave booked, I’ve got a long weekend booked and a day to go to an event I’d like to go to.

I am so tempted to take a day off to have a lie in and give my house a deep clean is this just a waste of it?

Though if you can spare it I would book 2 days together for this - as if it were me I would manage the lie in and then arse around ineffectually instead of doing the deep clean, so would need day 2 to actually get it done.

Definitely not. I'd book two days. The second to actually do the cleaning I'd intended to do on the first before the lie in and Netflix took over!! Important to "treat" yourself in whatever way you want to. If you've got to use them before the end of the year, I assume you lose them if you don't - that would be the waste

Day 1 clean
Day 2 chill-I wouldn’t be able to relax in the dirt!

I agree with others, take 2 days!
Though, do people only use annual leave when they have stuff booked, like every single day is planned?! I book annual leave maybe if I have a hair appt etc then spend the rest of the day chillin'

Sounds like a good use of AL to me, especially if you have to take it. I'd take more than one day though if you can.

I only have 8 til the snd of march. Ill take 2 at xmas so 6 really. Doesnt sound enough!
