Alcohol Free Beer/Cider for DC’s

Just after opinions really. DS is 12. I don’t really drink very often but when I do, and he asks for a taste, I let him. Generally he doesn’t like it, but he does like fruit cider.

He and a few friends had some alcohol free fruit cider at a friends BBQ a few weeks back and he now keeps asking for me to buy him some.

I don’t really know how I feel about him drinking it. On the one hand it’s alcohol free, so not alcoholic. On the other hand, it’s still sold as cider.

Any opinions gratefully received.

I offer DD (12) the odd small glass of processo on NYE or Christmas but she doesn't like the taste. She had a shot glass of Pimms this Summer.
But DD very much prefers soft drinks, appletiser or proper lemonade at the moment.

I am German and the odd glass of Bucks Fizz or pure sparkling wine was given to me from teenage age onwards and I hardly would say I am an alcoholic.

But, a fruity drink designed to taste and look like the real deal is not something I would offer.
