Lunch ideas for work

I’m getting really lazy with my lunches and keep buying sandwiches that cost £2.80 or £2.99/£3.99 meal deals which are actually a rip off over the week. When I do take a quick lunch from home, it’s boring sandwiches.

What can I have? Give me some ideas. New ideas.

I'm exactly the same spend £3.00 on a meal deal! I need some ideas too

Wraps, pasta salads, leftovers that can be heated up like bolognese or stew? Now that it's colder I've been making nice soups to take in with a bread roll. All of this is working on the presumption you have a microwave or cooker at work?

If I don't plan ahead I end up spending loads of money on sub standard sandwiches!

I take in rice cakes/breadsticks/crackers/Ryvita and carrot/cucumber sticks, with either hummous, phili and avocado. Yum.

Yes I have a microwave! Soups are good idea, but ashamedly, I’ve never made a soup. Will have to look up a recipe

I'm a rubbish cook but even I can manage soup! It's just a load of veggies, stock and seasoning whizzed up in a pan.

Make an extra portion of tea the night before and take it the next day.
