Who has right if way here?

I live here so have been both cars in this scenario numerous times.

Red car is coming uphill turning into the road on the right. Blue car is turning into the road red car is exiting. To the left of red car are trees and bushes which completely obscure the road on the left meaning neither car can see the other until already mid manoeuvre. The road red car is on narrows at the point where you turn and there is no room for two cars to pass so either red car has to reverse back down the hill until the road widens (often impossible if other cars behind) or blue car has to reverse back out into oncoming traffic (also often cars behind hoping to go down the hill)

So based on all that- who has right of way and what should happen when two cars meet like this?

(Ps sorry I have no actual colours!)

Surely red has the right of way as they’re already on that road.

I would say that red car has right if way as it is already on the road, blue car is waiting to turn onto.

Red car as already on the road.
I didn't pass my test and know this.

^^This is how I’ve been approaching it. A man was blue car today and I was red. He carried on even after he had seen me trying to pull into the road on the right. He drove across the front of my car and kept inching forward forcing me to reverse. We both had windows down so whenever he pulled level with me I told him he didn’t have right of way. He was adamant he did because there was a give way at the top of The road I was on so I had to give way to him pulling off the other road. I understand the give way is if red car is pulling out into the road on the left but as I wasn’t- the give way didn’t apply?

Now if the red car was going downhill l so the blue was heading up as it came out, and as you say both cars can't really see each other until on the same stretch of road, then it's slightly more ambiguous.

Give way to the person on the right is what I learnt.

So the Red car.

Red car is on the road so has right of way. Blue car must wait until there is a suitable gap in the traffic before joining.
