DH is half Welsh, and DS likes to think he is more than a quarter Welsh on days like today. They did well.

I'm fully English. Wondering what the quarter finals will bring!

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 29/09/2019 11:41

My nerves are utterly shredded
DH claims that living here for 27 years makes him Welsh
Until the next England game HmmGrin

We are Welsh and there was a lot of yeeeessssing , neither of us live there anymore but even so.

The other day I noticed as we were sitting waiting for a meeting that Wales were up , and exclaimed happily and I got the response that the others didn't even know Wales had a rugby team!!

I need an award for my self restraint 😂😂

DP is welsh and there was an awful lot of swearing and then cheering in our house this morning 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

My 5 year old who soaks up everything like a sponge is now asking what some words mean 😮 and I’m quite enjoying his squirming

KimberWozRobbed · 29/09/2019 11:50

Crickey that was tense! Hard work supporting Wales.

She loves it there, embracing her welsh heritage and watches the rugby down the pub.

bruffin · 29/09/2019 12:19

She has even started saying lush

ageingdisgracefully · 29/09/2019 12:20

Very, very Welsh today. And proud.

Moonflower12 · 29/09/2019 12:21

I am! So excited 😆

Boobiliboobiliboo · 29/09/2019 12:21

DD and I watched in bed. Think I’d have had a heart attack if I’d been standing up!

(One of my colleagues has a close family member in the Welsh team - her nerves are shredded!)

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 29/09/2019 12:23

Watched it in the pub
But even I couldn't face a Wine this early
Needed a stiff drink by the end though Grin

Hoghgyni · 29/09/2019 19:11

Watching with a pint of Brains Dark seemed to ease the nerves in our house.

Nononononono33 · 29/09/2019 19:17

Yes! Welsh here - from the north, so my home area got a bit of flak on a recent travel thread (the one which listed places you’d never go back to!). What a morning - loved it...🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏈🏈🏈

LeekMunchingSheepShagger · 29/09/2019 20:08

Welsh and proud here too! It was bloody nerve wracking though; I seriously thought it was going to go hideously wrong in the last 10 minutes!
