Cervical erosion/ectropian

I wonder if anyone has any experience of this?
In 2014 (roughly) I was diagnosed with cervical erosion after having painful sex for a period of time. I had it cauterised at the time which unfortunately didn't help but it did remove the cells.

After having my two DC, sex finally became enjoyable again, and in January I had the mirena fitted. It took a little while for my cycle to resettle but it did eventually. However, I've begun to bleed after sex again which is so disheartening after a few years of it being almost unbearable.

Does anyone know if it's possible for ectropian to reform after cauterisation? I do have a doctor's appointment the week after next for an issue with my thyroid, so I will mention it to her then, but I'd be so appreciative of any input anybody can give me

Yes they can because it's happened to me! Mines not currently causing any issues so it's being left.

Yes! I had two cauterisations (2012 & 2014). Just had another done last week. Consultant is hopeful I won't need another but says it's definitely possible.

I also have this and since coming off the pill I have been spotting thru the month between periods. I really don’t want to go on the pill again and not sure it’s worth getting treated if it could still come back?
