8 month old... poo, normal or not!

I can’t believe I’m posting about my DDs bowels again but...
My original thread on this topic was asking when I should worry about DD and her week of exploding diarrhoea; it was suggested I ring 111, which I did and they said I should make a doctors appointment as soon as possible; which I did. However the Dr dismissed me as an overly anxious mum and sent me away. I’ve had issues with him before, like his insisting DDs reflux was colic. (There is a better Dr but she’s on maternity leave!)

Anyways, DD’s bowels are returning to normal consistency, and we’ve not gone back to the lactulose she used to take; but she is having 4 solid poos a day and a 5th much, much more sloppy poo just before bed.

Has anyone encountered this before; is it normal?

Our health visitor is massively over stretched so I don’t feel I can ask her.

Thanks, the probably quite anxious mum!

Is she having milk before this happens?teething can cause this or even something shes eaten eg.yoghurt/fruit keep eye on what she eats it may be something not agreeing with her. Hope this is lil helpful all the best x

Thank you for the suggestion; although I can’t find any correlation between her milk or food and the sloppy poo at the end of her usual day; we’ve done food diaries throughout weaning because of her reflux.

She’s not half as dribbly as she was two weeks ago which is why I’m almost ruling it teething. It’s just a bit random; well it’s not because we know it’s her last poo of the day, that she’s normal poo all bar the last one!
DP thinks she’s been grunting a bit with it, so I’m thinking it’s not the diarrhoea of last week as that came out no problem 🤮
