Guildford suburbs

Hoping to pick your brains if you know Guildford....

We’re thinking of moving to Guildford and really like George Abbott school. Would Merrow or Burpham be the places to most likely secure a school place? Which of the two areas is nicer? Thanks!

Merrow is nicer and more expensive. Burpham is nice too though. Be careful where you buy in Burpham - check the school’s admissions because it used to have to be your closest school for priority.

Have you actually looked at GA? It’s probably worth doing one of the tours that are probably taking place around now to see if it’s for you. It’s enormous but I understand they have good systems in place. The other good school if you’re not catholic is County.

We did AustrianSnow. Had a tour last week and were very impressed, despite the size. Also hoping to visit County next month.
