Bumped into an old friend who told me she had lost a parent a couple of weeks ago. She is an old friend and completely lovely but we haven’t really kept in touch. She is a busy person and I bumped into her at her work. She has a partner and close family at home and a wide social circle.

Would you think it more appropriate to go round with a card and flowers or to have some delivered?
Is it too intrustive to drop them off or would you prefer it? I don’t like visitors and don’t live with anyone so it’s hard to imagine what she’d prefer especially if grieving.
