what did you do for your 10 year olds birthday?

DS wants a party. It would have to be at home, likely to be bad weather as in Dec, probably 6 kids. We don't have a garden. What would you do?

We had a party at home for DD. She invited a mixed group and they watched a film and we did some party games.

The one where you write a famous person's name and put it on a post it note and they have to guess. (Worked really well with the names of one or two of their teachers).

We did a football party.

What about a cinema at home- chose a classic film (mine love the Goonies, but it is a 12 so check with other parents!), make up snack boxes, maybe afterwards get them to make their own pizzas and then have a fire pit in the garden to make s'mores.

That is very impressive. DS2 is 10 in a couple of weeks and is having a sleepover. I'm going to try the spy thing with a football twist. Did you invent the whole characterisation yourself?
