So I posted here a few weeks ago to say that my husband and I have made some stop motion videos with our DS (4mnths) train set.

Lots of people seemed to like it (and no one was able to come up with a better topic to post in!) so I thought I'd post here again with the latest video - hope that you enjoy it!

is the latest video.... The Race.

That was great! We clearly need many, many more train tracks....

Rubberduckies · 26/09/2019 20:01

Haha! All of ours was actually secondhand from facebook or ebay.... and actually we only fit a teeny tiny portion of it into the photos!

Glad you liked the video!

I'll show my son that tomorrow, he loves his wooden train set and will enjoy this!

Glad that your son will enjoy these! We made them for our nephew to encourage him off Youtube and back to his train set. He likes to re-enact the videos with his toys so its worked quite well! The side effect is that he also now has a large shopping list, because he wants a blue train 'just like the video' (and a church, and sheep, and a dog, and a bridge.....) and gets super excited when he comes round and his baby cousin lets him play with them....!

Big jigs?

I may have a stupid amount of train track. Looks fun. DD may have a go.

Rubberduckies · 26/09/2019 22:21

Its a bit of a mixture of brands actually, there is a lot of Big jigs in it because they do lots of wooden trains and accessories. There's also BRIO, Melissa and Doug, IKEA, Thomas and friends, ELC, Toys R Us....even some ALDI! We just bought it all off facebook marketplace or ebay.

(Woke up in the middle of the night and remembered, so felt like I had to add it to the thread to make it 'worth it'!)
