Making holes in conkers

Easiest way please. I don’t have a drill. I do have various pointy things and hammers

Corkscrew

Heat the end of a metal skewer and whilst still hot you can easily pierce the conker.

A corkscrew may make the hole too big.
Try a thin nail and hammer.

Bbq skewer or raid the toolbox for a pointy thing

Or a knitting needle

Don't forget to soak in vinegar and bake first!
