He’s all hunched up here as he got a shock when I screeched as I found him on my sleeve inside! Think he must have got swept in with me off my garden bushes this morning. But he was pretty big!

It looks like an orb weaver/cross/garden spider - choose whichever name you like best as they are all the same spider :-)

We have one who was in the window at work last week. He's called Simon. I lay on the floor watching him weave his web. And got some shit hot photos too

Think he's just your average Joe garden variety, OP.

They're nice, though.

Unless you're my DC who I thought had actually lost a limb when they opened the car door and disturbed one on the bush nearby. Honestly, I have never heard anyone scream so loudly. Still getting over the shock! (me, not DC!)
