Any piercers/piercing-knowledgeable people around?

I'm adding a few more piercings to my ears in a few weeks but also want to change the jewellery in a couple of now healed piercings at the same time (can't do them myself as too fiddly).

Will a piercing shop change jewellery for me using new jewellery I've bought myself or would I have to buy it from their shop?

Completely depends on the piercer /studio

The might do it to be nice but it's a bit of an odd request. Can you go back to the place you got then done and ask them to help? Are you still wearing the original jewellery you had it pierced with?
