And I can't change it back. I have tried highlighting and clicking change font size. No doing.
I've never used Ofguce 365 before. What have I done.?

Have you tried clicking on the undo arrow up top?

Pinkiii · 26/09/2019 09:27

If the undo doesn’t work, highlight another word thats the size you want and format painter and then highlight your small sentence

Doyoumind · 26/09/2019 09:29

Is it set to a particular design template which is formatting the line that way? Perhaps it's formatting it as a heading etc.

Shosha1 · 26/09/2019 09:32

Undo wont work, as didn't notice it until after I had closed and reopened. Will try pinkii's suggestion.

Have to go pick up new specs now (think it may have been better if I had then before) will try when I get back. Thank you

Is it possible it's not the font size and you've changed the first line to go up like the th in a date? Ie 9th

Inthemane · 26/09/2019 09:34

If you highlight the sentence, go into Edit and select Clear Formats and select All, it should change it. Then you can adjust the font size/type style. Fingers crossed!

kikibo · 26/09/2019 09:38

Maybe you've accidentally clicked 'subscript' or so. They're two Xs in the font section on the top ribbon. If you click on it again, it'll restore the text to its original size.

Monday55 · 26/09/2019 09:52

If it's only the first line then start a new blank document. Type out the first line then copy and paste the rest onto the new document.

Shosha1 · 26/09/2019 10:05

Monday it is a document of 30 thousand words Smile

Phhheeww!
If you are using windows Ctrl+A would've selected all the text in the document (after deleting the 1st line) Ctrl+C to copy and paste (Ctrl+V) it to the new document.

Shosha1 · 26/09/2019 14:08

It's all good. @Monday55 it's on the cloud and three memory sticks Wink

Glad it worked :)

If you need to select a loooong piece of text, you can just select the first line, scroll down to the end and select the last line while holding the shift key.

Just FYI.

Shosha1 · 27/09/2019 22:36

Oh Thank you. I just sat with my finger on the scroll key foevervearlier. Smile
