I drink everything, fruit, herbal, rooibos, green, black, white. I have a top three.

Chocolate orange tea (Sainsbo's did it last year as a Christmas limited edition, I got 8 packs at 40p each and was so sad when I used my last bag. Sad ) Asda do one too but it's not as chocolaty.

Sainsbo's rooibos, cocoa and coconut tea.

Twinings gingerbread green tea.

I drink them all with milk (even though the first and last you're not supposed to have milk in.)

I drink Sencha green tea, really strong. Zingy, bitter and delicious :)

DoYouTakeSelfEsteem · 01/10/2019 00:08

Yorkshire Bedtime Brew
Twinings Chocolate and Coconut
Spearmint and Chamomile.

That was really tough, I love all teas!

SapphireSeptember · 01/10/2019 00:31

partysong Aww, how disappointing. Sad

pollywobble There's a list here. I fancy the English Tea Shop one as I like (most) of their teas. (Although the tea I've hated the most was from them, rooibos chai, it had garlic in it and the clove was so overpowering, it was just awful all round!)

Thank you for that Sapphire

Garlic in tea? 🤢🤮

WildRosie · 01/10/2019 11:36

Currently using Sainbury's Red Label Extra Strong. Lots of flavour and very good value at £1.50 for eighty teabags. I also get M&S and Waitrose Gold Extra Strong. I can't stand weak, wishy-washy tea.

I am a huge convert to bird and blend tea birdandblendtea.com/uk_en/ went on one of their tea tasting nights, and have fallen in love with a great number of their offerings. Highly recommend trying their stuff and if you have a branch nearby pop in. I adore the bears love marmalade tea and the black forest tea (not in stock full time). The tea subscription is great too for trying new stuff!

HelloDoris · 01/10/2019 12:33

@pollywobble the company i linked above do a calendar, you can even pay to customise your own selection...

Katinski · 01/10/2019 13:02

Twinings Irish breakfast tea first thing, then Twinings English Breakfast tea at teatime. Middle of the day, coffee made in my 60s percolator. I wrote my dissertation to the background 'pop pop' of that percolator...ahh, those were the days..

LesLavandes · 01/10/2019 13:37

Joe's Tea Company - chamomile

GrouchyKiwi · 01/10/2019 14:30

Oh, Russian Caravan. I've not had that in YEARS. I loved it. Must get some.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 01/10/2019 14:42

Loose-leaf Russian Caravan from Whittard at home. Gorgeous.

Or Twinings Earl Grey bags at work.

vaselinda · 01/10/2019 15:05

OP if you are ever in the US or Canada you MUST find a David's Tea!!!

specifically their Birthday Cake Tea. Sadly there is no way to have it shipped to the UK Sad

Teddybear45 · 01/10/2019 15:06

Oolong. All types

NoTheresa · 01/10/2019 15:40

Twinings English Breakfast.

NoTheresa · 01/10/2019 15:41

In other words, normal tea.

SapphireSeptember · 01/10/2019 17:22

You're welcome pollywobbles! Er, yeah, that tea wasn't great. They don't sell it anymore (good) but they also no longer sell their Chocolate Super Berry Burst which I quite liked (bought it off Amazon a few years ago now.) Sad Although I've found the awful tea under this Ebay listing (Red Bush Chai, yuck!) What made it worse was I put sugar in it (I like to drink my chai sweetened.) Yuck! Someone must like it, I did not...

vaselinda Oh my! That sounds amazing! I'm hoping I can go to the USA either next year or the year after (need to save up first though!) So hopefully I can find a shop, and get lots of tea! (Might need an extra suitcase...)

I have one drawer in my wee under-desk pedestal unit at work filled with jars of tea...I have a bit of a reputation as the tea person.
My faves are:

Whittards Chilli Chai with a good amount of milk (comfort tea for getting you through the day)
Jasmine Dragon Pearls
Silver Needle
Rose (just rosebuds on their own, a few dropped into a mug of hot water makes a lovely floral brew)

Generally, I like to use loose leaf most of the time, even at work (hence the reputation) but I do also have a box of twinnings everyday tea bags as a fall back for when I can't be bothered and just want to get the caffiene. I'm not keen on things which have added flavourings in the form of 'flavourings' but I do like tea with added flavourings through natural ingredients like apple, rosehip, etc. I'm not a coffee fan so I feel I can go hardcore with my tea love!

SapphireSeptember · 02/10/2019 12:33

Rosebud tea sounds lovely! I shall have to get some. Smile I've had black tea with rose which was very nice. Twinings did a whole range of flowery teas, blossom earl grey, jasmine earl grey, lavender earl grey and rose garden (black tea with rose.) They were lovely and I miss them.

I have just ordered some more tea! English tea shop cranberry vanilla delight and spiced red fruits (both in packs of three boxes, so should last me a while!) I need to stop, the cupboard in my bedroom is full of boxes of tea.

tea leaves first.
earl grey, darjeeling (cant afford 1st flush but 2nd flush cheaper), russian caravan. Sainsburys used to do China/darjeeling but now discontinued

pollywobble · 03/10/2019 01:15

@HelloDoris thank you- am now wondering what kind of photos adorn a tea calendar 🤔

HerondaleDucks · 03/10/2019 01:20

Yorkshire tea nice and strong with milk.

I'm quite partial to chamomile at night with honey, Jasmine tea is good for a change and fruit teas when I'm trying to reduce the enormous amount of caffeine I drink!

NewtonPulsifer · 03/10/2019 01:29

Yorkshire Biscuit Brew is my new fave. I’m trying not to over do it and be put off, so I’m one a day. It has helped my cravings for biscuits dunked in tea, I get all the taste and smell of delicious biscuits and just the tea to drink.

Orange Pekoe is nice.

mathanxiety · 03/10/2019 01:37

I drink gallons and gallons of Tetley British Blend (in US).

Also Green Tea with Pomegranate by US supermarket brand Bigelow, and Lemon Ginger Tea by Stash.
And Dzika Roza rosehip tea from Poland.

I got a fantastic Two Leaves And A Bud tea collection last Christmas from people who know me well. It's all fabulous.

Zoflorabore · 03/10/2019 01:46

Yorkshire Tea, I take it on holiday abroad as I love it so much.

I also like Assam.
