I drink everything, fruit, herbal, rooibos, green, black, white. I have a top three.

Chocolate orange tea (Sainsbo's did it last year as a Christmas limited edition, I got 8 packs at 40p each and was so sad when I used my last bag. Sad ) Asda do one too but it's not as chocolaty.

Sainsbo's rooibos, cocoa and coconut tea.

Twinings gingerbread green tea.

I drink them all with milk (even though the first and last you're not supposed to have milk in.)

For tea served with milk try Keemun or Darjeeling,1 teaspoon of tea leaves to 250ml boiling water and a teardrop of skimmed milk. For Chinese tea my favorite is pu erh, oolong and jasmine serve without milk. Fortum &mason would be my suppliers of choice though Waitrose isn’t too bad

Gilead · 26/09/2019 12:54

Fortnum’s looks like tea heaven!

Tieguanyin is gorgeous.

For regular tea I love Twinings English Breakfast, and their Lapsang Souchong is lovely too.

For a little bit special Whittard's has a tea called Picadilly Blend which tastes like Summer. DH gets me some for Christmas every year.

And as for herbal: I recently discovered a NZ tea company called Ti Ora. Their peppermint tea with lemon and marigold is delicious and very refreshing.

T2 Melbourne breakfast, it's got vanilla in and I make it very strong with lots of milk, in a huge cup at the start of the day.

I used to drink nothing but Twinings Earl Grey but they changed the recipe some years ago and while I was searching for another one my lovely Australian tea-fiend friend gave me the Melbourne breakfast and I never looked back. Like their Assam too.

I do still try Earl Greys (Earls Grey?), usually a disappointment, but Sainsbury's Taste the Difference decaf I like.

Third place would be Yogi Choco tea.

NewNameGuy · 26/09/2019 16:05

Anything made by my wife.

I am usually the tea maker and when she does it I am very happy

confusednorthner · 26/09/2019 16:07

Do any of the chocolate teas actually taste of chocolate? I've gone sugar free and miss hot chocolate, used to drink instant lemon tea but it's got sugar in and I don't like tea tea!

Jackiesathome · 26/09/2019 16:09

Yorkshire tea for me

Bloodycats · 26/09/2019 16:09

Camomile and honey. It’s like a hug in a cup!

saraclara · 26/09/2019 16:11

Lady Grey

dalmatianmad · 26/09/2019 16:11

Just normal decent proper Tea!

Not of that strange flavoured cherry bakewell shit, eat a cake if you need to!

IHaveBrilloHair · 26/09/2019 16:12

Twinings earl grey, with half a sugar and oat milk.

KronksSpinachPuffs · 26/09/2019 16:13

Twinings Everyday or Yorkshire Gold for me!

Baboutheocelot · 26/09/2019 16:15

Clipper earl grey, subtle and not heavily scented.

NationMcKinley · 26/09/2019 16:18
  1. Yorkshire
  2. Earl Grey
  3. Pukka Cinnamon
  4. Taylor’s of Harrogate rhubarb
  5. Chamomile
  6. Green tea with Jasmine

I know you asked for top 3 but I really like tea so sorry not sorry

NationMcKinley · 26/09/2019 16:19
  1. Darjeeling
Crazzzycat · 26/09/2019 16:19

Earl Grey in the morning, Lovers Leap Ceylon in the afternoon and Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearl, Oolong, or Creme d’Orange Green tea for when I feel fancy 😁 Always without milk!

I live in the backend of beyond, but there’s a fancy tea purveyor less than 5 miles from where I live. I don’t know how they manage to stay in business it’s possible my almost weekly visits play a large role in that 🙈

OMGshefoundmeout · 26/09/2019 16:20

I dislike ‘proper’ tea, green teas and Earl Grey to the point that the smell makes me queasy but I love peppermint tea, camomile tea and the herb teas designed to help you sleep.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 26/09/2019 16:22

Yorkshire Gold or Tetleys

Teapigs everyday is lovely

For decaf PG Tips have tried many they came out top

Twinnings everyday yea tastes different now but still nice

And the London Cuppa but haven’t seen it for ages

I don’t like fruit or herbal teas tastes like warm cordial or ice teas - it children’s drinks pretending to be tea Grin

thismeansnothing · 26/09/2019 16:23

Clipper organic black tea.
Co-op mint tea. Got a taste for peppermint after drinking copious amounts post c-section.
Got a taste for the Yorkshire tea biscuit brew but drunk so much I can't stomach it anymore.

Mitebiteatnite · 26/09/2019 16:29

My absolute favourite 'normal' tea is the Yorkshire Breakfast Brew. Its really refreshing. I too, like a PP, drank so much of the Biscuit Brew that I can't bear it anymore. DCs love it though. My absolute all time favourite, however, is Yorkshire Bedtime Brew. Its decaf and lightly flavoured with vanilla and nutmeg and is the most comforting drink I've ever tasted. I have a cup at bedtime every night and if I go upstairs having forgotten to make it, I feel like a baby without their bedtime milk
Blush.

My other favourites are good old peppermint if I've got a bit of a stomach ache or have eaten a bit too much, and Pukka wonderberry green. The clean matcha green is lovely too.

AzraiL · 26/09/2019 16:29

Twinings earl grey mixed with english breakfast, or just on it's own, with or without milk

T2 loose leaf chai with milk

T2 loose leaf lemongrass and ginger

Turkish linden flower tea when I have a cold, preferably in a pure dried leaf/flower state.

Also an Arabic (Ahmed brand?) loose leaf black tea with cardamom - aromatic and divine with or without milk.

dottiedodah · 26/09/2019 16:35

Really like a cup of decaf Earl Grey ,through the day .Also like Peppermint tea, have a cup of Breakfast Tea when just getting up!.Camomile very soothing!

LloydBraun · 26/09/2019 16:40

Surely you could make your own decaf chai with decaf black tea and the right spices?

SapphireSeptember · 26/09/2019 19:34

Flavoured teas are amazing! If I ate as much cake as I drank tea I'd be the size of an elephant.

confused Some of them do, some are more subtle but have a cocoa-y aftertaste. I'm on the Teapigs website and have just added their chocolate and chocolate mint teas to my basket. Blush

Also going to check out Holland and Barrett tomorrow as they sell Yogi teas and I want to try their choco one, and their choco mint one (they also do choco chai, yum! Get in my basket!)

So many teas, so little time! 🖤

My obsessions this year are most definitely tea and gin. Hello, my name is Sapphire and I am a teaholic. (I drink far, far more tea than gin.)

Nation I put a top three otherwise I'd have been here all day. Grin Someone mentioned Tesco's vanilla chai which is delicious.
