Easyjet with baby

I would like to book Easyjet flights for next year to get a good price. I am pregnant atm so will be flying with a baby. Does anyone know if it is possible to book an un-named baby at this point or can I add the baby later without a huge fee? Or should I just wait until he arrives and book afterwards?

No you can’t babies need a name as it’s assumed they have a passport when you book. Best to wait

I'm fairly sure you can't buy a ticket for an as yet unborn person.

Congratulations on your pregnancy though.

I booked a package holiday with jet2 before my baby was born - I just had to contact them again after he had arrived to confirm name and date of birth. Best check with easyjet but it's definitely possible with some airlines.

The fee is the same - £25 each way or thereabouts. Surprisingly painless to add at last minute as they won't have a seat. I did it with Ryanair earlier this year.

I'm pretty sure you can and just add details nearer the time.

Way back in the dark ages I booked flights for my un born baby. I just had to put her due date and TBC as name. I phoned up and changed it when born. Not sure who that was with though. Check with easyJet.

Yes you can book for an unborn baby, we did.

Contact EasyJet and check but we were told to write the name as Baby Surname and use the Due date as the birthday and then ring them and adjust it when the baby arrived.

We didn't use EasyJet but booked with Ryanair and Wizz air as well as BA before the baby was born.

Thanks for the information. I finally got through to easyjet. I can add baby at any time and if I add him now then I can change the name nearer the time.
