Kitten scratching post, all you can buy are , so I've designed this, forced hubby to make it, and am immensely proud of it 😁.

It’s attractive for a scratching but I’ve never had a cat use any scratching post of any sort. Why would they when there is paintwork to destroy and good furniture to wreck?

It's your cats job to make you feel like a disappointment to them. If they show interest too soon, you may feel like a good slave and they wouldn't be wanting that. Give them a week or two, just when you feel you have definitely wasted your time and energy and they will try it out.

Hang some feathers from it like the Arch Nemesis from here.
