Hello

I wanted to ask a couple of questions about wine and storage if anyone is an expert?

Is it safe to store wine under the bed or in an empty suitcase, to stock up for a special event in 6 months or will it get spoiled?

Just wondering before I bulk buy!

As long as it's not too warm around 12-15 C

As long as the room is cool. I maybe wouldn't put under the bed because I would imagine bedrooms get warm at night, especially if near a radiator. Put in a cool cupboard somewhere, or wherever is the coldest draftiest room in the house. You can obviously drink wine 5, 10, 20+ years after it's bottled if it's been stored properly so I would think you couldn't go too wrong in 6 months. Just be mindful if you buy anything with a natural cork (not screw top, so this includes any sparkling wines) that it is stored on its side to make sure the cork doesn't dry out.
