Why didn't they phone me?

Son is in year 11. When he got home from school he said he feels sick. And when he was at school he felt sick and had stomach ache and at break he vomited. He said the teacher knew but they sent him to a classroom which was also a first aid room and he staying in there for 3rd lesson after break which was pe anyway. But for 4th lesson they sent him to class and just told the teacher to keep an eye on him. Then at lunch he went back to the first aid room to stay in (it's also a lunchtime club for children who don't like the hall) and he told them he felt sick and they told him to eat something (he didnt) and that there was only 1 lesson until home time.

No idea why they didn't call me to pick him up.

Also isn't that how sickness bugs are spread?

Without sounding facetious you really need to ask the school, no one here will know.

Does he have a phone, I'd expect a year 11 who was ill enough to need to go home would contact the parent themselves if phones are allowed at school.

Phones are banned at the school. And if they take their phone They must be in their bags switched off.

Has he possibly tried it on before? He vomited once, conveniently timed with break and probably not witnessed he was then not sick for hours which is unlikely with a bug.. well atleast any ive had. (Assuming school runs to similar times to ours did break was around 11 and lunch at 1.30 n home at 3.30)

No he hasn't tried it on before. And he hasn't been sent home from school much since year 7 (maybe 3 times. He said it was witnessed.

I thought he could've been Lying but he didn't eat his lunch which he normally design and doesn't want any dinner.
