Dating someone in the public eye

Hello,

Recently started dating someone fairly well known in the UK, depending on your interests that is. He is bloody lovely but I'm a little anxious as previous girlfriends have been pictured / had outfits slated etc. In the media.

Has anyone ever dated someone in the public eye (I wouldn't say this guy was famous exactly and certainly not a fame seeking sleb) and does anyone have any tips to deal with pictures or comments that may arise.

Tip would be not to give a stuff what other people think. Not to talk about him to friends who might tell others and pass on stories to the press etc.
Other than that- he’s a normal human. So just treat him like anyone else and enjoy!

It’s fairly easy not to be pictured in public, you just have to make sure he doesn’t post pictures of you on instagram etc or if he does you aren’t tagged if you have instagram as well.

You have to ignore what other people say, people online can be very cruel. There is also the fact that for some of us a partner is lusted over by thousands of people, on occasions when it bothers you please be honest about it.

On the plus side you sometimes get invited to fairly cool places, the brits after party is somewhat interesting!

Just don't move into Number 10 until Carrie has moved out.
