Booked a packaged deal for next year

It was ATOL protected
No insurance
being paid by direct debit not credit card

Anyone know if we'll get the money already paid back? Will there likely be a long wait?

• the CAA claim website won't be up until 30/09 as rightly so the current concern is repatriating those already abroad.

A few people I know have called.tbeor banks today and have had all of their direct debit payments recalled. Worth a try

Martin Lewis is advising not to recall Direct Debits, it may affect your claim.

I've not recalled anything but I have cancelled the DD going forwards!

I think you have to wait until 30th for claim form to be issued then from what i have read can take up to 2 months to get the refund.

If you booked a package holiday, you’re ATOL protected and will be fine. You’ll just need to hang on til the 30th to start the process.
