Package holiday but Thomas Cook flights???

I've booked a package holiday for the family next year with booking .com and just noticed the flights are Thomas Cook

Booking.com have said on their site that they will take reasonable steps to ensure our holiday can continue.

Do you think this means they will re-book the flights with another airways and if so, will that end up costing us more than what we originally agreed?

Tui, who also use Thomas Cook flights have canceled all package holidays using TC flights until 31st Oct but after that date they think they should go ahead. If it's next year I wouldn't worry but do make sure you have good cancelation insurance.

We have got a package booked for next summer through First Choice (part of TUI) but with Thomas Cook flights. I emailed the TUI store we booked it all through yesterday and they have replied today to say that their head office will be sorting out new flights and will be in touch when they have done so.

I imagine they will sort out in order of departure date, so will be working on those due to fly from 1st Nov at the moment.

We have the same through Love Holidays. I had an email from them saying:

Important information:
loveholidays will be contacting customers in departure date order, we will contact you directly via email with your options. Please bear with us whilst we try to support all our customers during this challenging period.

We are just going to wait and see, we don't go til August so there are thousands of people ahead of us. Our flights are only one way with TC so hoping they can sort alternatives.

We are due to go in July and don't need to pay anything else until April I don't think, so we are just going to wait and see as well. Had no automated email from TUI/First Choice - they are just directing people to their website for travel updates at the moment.
