Where do the psychiatrists come from who undertake the assessments. Are they from the cmht/camhs community teams or a special team for people who are on a 136

Uusaly the on-call psychiatrist for that area who usually work for the local CMHT or hospital.

The arrangements vary depending on area, and where you are taken to (a s. 136 suite/ A&E/ a police custody suite).
