I don't think they get the appreciation they deserve, especially after seeing them in action this weekend

Sadly my Step dad passed away on Saturday after after having tumours removed from his lungs, after an in total good recovery he had a major setback and was sedated in intnensive care on life support to help with improvement but by Friday he went into total organ failure,

The nurses were brilliant though, they kept us informed of what and why they were doing things and the care they gave was brilliant, even though he papassed away on Saturday and the after care they gave as well

So sorry to hear of your loss. Flowers Yes, nurses are totally awesome.

Suppose it depends on the nurse. My dad was let down by three nurses which resulted in him dying at the age of 53 and then having to go to coroners court for inquest etc. Worst experience of my life, can honestly say I’ve never been able to look at a nurse the same again.
