Not very interesting thread but could anyone advise on good or bad music streaming services please?
I have no clue and don't want to waste money.

We have a Sonos player I was perfectly happy with my old cd and tape deck and an iPad if that makes any difference.

I use spotify, it's a tenner a month and has lots of music plus podcasts. Its good

DariaMorgendorffer · 22/09/2019 21:22

I love Spotify...however, it is the only music streaming service I've used.

SospanFrangipan · 22/09/2019 21:42

We have amazon music, and it's great. We get it with amazon prime, so you get delivery, video and music for £7.99 I think it is, per month 👍

I use Spotify, I like that it makes you personalised playlists. I tried Apple Music when it first launched but didn't like it.

Thanks for replies, I didn't know Amazon did one, DH fancies Prime but we don't watch the tv we do have much.
I'm leaning towards Spotify I think, interesting to hear Apple is not as good.

Food for thought... 🤔

I've used You Tube premium, Amazon Music, Spotify and Sound Cloud. I prefer Spotify but Amazon is a close second.

delilahbucket · 22/09/2019 22:11

Oh, used Apple Music as well.

SimplySteveRedux · 22/09/2019 22:15

Tidal offers the highest sound quality but have a smaller library/higher price as a result.

sunsalutations · 22/09/2019 22:18

I love Spotify. I like the Daily Mixes based on my very varied listening habits. I've also looked up quite obscure stuff - it's all there!

OctopusNow · 22/09/2019 23:03

Does Spotify differentiate between users like Netflix does or would I get a weird amalgamation of brilliant tunes I like, rubbish music DH likes and random stuff DS listens to?

Google Play Music and Deezer also both good.

EddieVeddersfoxymop · 22/09/2019 23:24

Deezer family user here. Recommend it, easy to use, lots of features. Only chose Deezer though as it came with my husband's car for a year, we all liked it so re subscribed.

HoldMyLobster · 23/09/2019 00:58

We have a family Spotify account. It's great.

HoldMyLobster · 23/09/2019 00:59

Does Spotify differentiate between users like Netflix does?

Yes it does. There's no way I could cope with it playing me DS's dubstep and DD's French pop.

Ah, thank you!
