Perioral dermatitis

If you have perioral dermatitis what are your best skincare products?

I can get away with using only warm water (as advised on the leaflets the doctor gave me) if I also take antibiotics.

But I'm wanting to try to soothe my skin without resorting to antibiotics.

Has anyone found a cleanser and moisturiser that works for them? I was wondering if something like Cerave or Cetaphil might be a good option.

it’s awful isn’t it. When I take anti biotics to get rid of it, the only thing I use is diprobase as a moisturiser- can now buy in boots. It’s the only thing that soothes during a flare up. I also wash in aqueous cream. I could never get on with cetaphil but that might just be me. I cleanse with Elemis cleansing balm and moisturise with diprobase very day now as a result. But resort to basics whenever I get a flare up. Good luck

That triangle around the side and base of my nose stings like crazy. It's such a pain.

Ask for protopic from the GP - miracle stuff. Google reviews.
