I have very elderly parents and we live a good distance away.
I spoke to my mum for a catch up today and she said they were having the dormer in their loft rebuild. It’s leaked for a while and tbh I’m amazed it’s still standing. Wasn’t a very good job in the first place and is now approx 45 years old.
Parents have only got one quote and it’s for £3800. Builder is coming round to take a (cash) deposit.
Dormer window is approx 1.5m x 1.5m so not huge. The work is scheduled to take a week. Anyone know if this sounds reasonable???
