I’s assume you’re a crazy cat lady.

Pinkyyy · 22/09/2019 17:58

Go for the Kath kidston. I'm all for people wearing whatever they like but the Smiggle bags are a step too far for me.

It will likely fall to bits in about three weeks.

Smiggle bags were fashionable for a hot minute in the City -then people started using them for their kids and it tailed off. However I don’t think that particular style is nice for anyone. The Cath Kidston bags are slightly better but still not great.

Bezalelle · 22/09/2019 18:06

The sequin one gives me the heebie jeebies! That Cath Kidston one is nice though.

My seven year old has a smiggle bag. He overloaded it one day and I ended up carrying it home, and it was the most uncomfortable bag I’ve had to haul. Wouldn’t recommend on that alone, without even going into the sequins.

If this happens then take it back, you don't need your receipt and they will swap it for a new one.

To each their own, wouldn't be my choice...
To be fair regarding quality. DS2 is 8. He got a Smiggle schoolbag at Christmas and it's in very good condition. The shoulder straps are padded and very comfortable, it holds a lot and I think it's a decent schoolbag

BogglesGoggles · 22/09/2019 19:28

Sophie Alport does bags in that vein but nice.

CardiFree · 22/09/2019 19:33

I would think, if I noticed at all, that you were just carrying your child's bag? 🤷🏻‍♀️

TheoriginalLEM · 22/09/2019 19:38

Just no!
