A spider ran across my bed

And now I cnat sleep

I'm so fucking tired. Sat on the edge of the bed after spending 45 mins downstairs.

I really want to go to sleep but I'm terrified of them.

I know how stupid that sounds but it's not a rational fear.

Feel so stupid :(

It’s that time of year I’m afraid. They’re finding warm places and trying to attract a mate.

If you are going to catch it try looking under picture frames or move furniture.

The outside of my window frames looked like they were covered in lace yesterday. Little blighters!

I hate them too! Sorry no help. Hopefully it won't bother you and is probably hiding somewhere.

ScreamingValenta · 22/09/2019 11:44

I had one on my bedpost the other night, but fortunately I don't mind them. If it's any consolation, they are supposed to bring you luck Shamrock

It came out again and my son caught it for me so thankfully I was able to sleep.

It's such a silly reaction but I just couldn't bare to lie down in the bed knowing it was lurking!

We had an absolutely massive one basically sprint across our living room floor last night. I couldn't believe how big it was. Got smooshed.

ShitFuckBastardBollocks · 22/09/2019 12:25

I'm a smoosher too.

Don't like to be but when it's smoosh or let it run under the couch the boot is coming down.
