They are all skilled musicians in their own right and as well as being talented , all educated .

My DS is doing his Degree and learning to play the guitar.
I keep telling him that not only is Brian May the Best Guitarist in the World , he built his own guitar as a young teen, has more letters after his name than the alphabet and gives safe shelter to rescued hedgehogs .

DS is Hmm ( I think he's jealous)

They were simply the best and I'm still angry at Freddie for dying.

Treaclebee · 21/09/2019 23:20

Me too SilverySurfer. He was completely irreplaceable. But they are all rediculously talented.

Saw them with Paul Rodgers, good but not the same.

DD watched Bohemian Rhapsody with me today: "I really envy you, seeing them first hand".

There are very few musicians who make something timeless, but they did it again and again.

I saw them at Wembley. Queen are marvellous. Love Brian May.

Not so long ago DD was telling me how 'crap' the song on the radio was. All I could hear was the wonderful Freddie and I told her when she was older she would come to appreciate just how special he was.

Oh how we miss the wonderful Freddie Mercury:
incredible showman plus cat-lover who cherished his privacy :-)
