We are taking DS1 to Barcelona for his 13th birthday to watch a game at the Nou Camp. DS2 is coming with us even though football doesnt interest him at all it will be our only family holiday in the year. DS2 is 9 and a swimmer he swims at least 2hrs 5 days a week (sometimes more) generally wants to go swimming whilst we are there I have googled but have ended up completely confused. Can anyone recommend a swimming pool in Barcelona that is tourist friendly because we dont speak Spanish?

There are a couple of swimming pools in Barceloneta. We have used this one a couple of times www.cnab.cat/el-club/ The website doesn’t have an English language option but we found the staff spoke English. We got day tickets.

Can't you pick a hotel with a pool?
We are going in a couple of weeks and staying in Castelldefels, just south of the airport. Seems like all the hotels there that aren't actually on the beach have pools.

We are staying in Castelldefels in an AirBnB next to the beach so no pool unfortunately. He is looking for a 50m pool really over a hotel pool.

this is in Castelldefels near the hotel we are staying at.
Also I think you can swim at the pool they used for the Olympics in Barcelona on Montjuic guia.barcelona.cat/detall/piscines-municipals-montjuic_92086000228.html

Castedefells beachbud great, very long, wide and clean. And you can see the whites of pilots' eyes as they fly into El Prat Grin
