Present for a difficult groom...

I’m getting married next month and want to get something special and meaningful for my H2B

He’s already got two watches, doesn’t wear suits at work so no tie clip or cuff links and neither of us drink so most traditional present are ruled out.

I’ve done some googling but I’m just completely stuck for ideas and really desperate for some inspiration if anyone has any ideas?

A nice quality leather wallet with something personal and subtle engraved on it.

You're marrying him. Buy him a drink

Haha he’ll need more than a drink to cope with me Wink

I know people don’t always think it’s necessary but it’s something I’d like to do. Love the idea of a wallet will go and have a look thanks!

You can get a lovely wallet and a wallet insert, I did that for my husband ☺️

Maybe it's a bit naff but I though of a fountain pen (if anyone still writes these days. One of these maybe fountain pen

But cheesy but I gave mine a pair of cashmere socks “in case he got cold feet”

You can buy a metal key ring that has the co-ordinates of your venue engraved and the date. Husband got me a mug that said ‘Mrs Surname’ on it. I know a mug sounds naff but I live on coffee at work.

I got a custom made silver lapel pin from a local jeweller. I sketched the shape and he made it. DH doesn’t wear suits but he regularly wears his pin in a jacket or blazer.

I rented a vintage Porsche registered in ten year of his birth for the day for him to drive himself to the wedding as we were getting married more than an hour from home. My brother collected it and delivered it to him the morning of as a surprise. I know it’s not something you can keep but he did love it and took off early for a spin around so he was on time for a change 😆

*the year, not ten year
