The International Space Station will be visible in the evenings again for the next week or so.

So, where do I look ??
Go outside, your BACK to the NORTH, facing SOUTH (obviously). To your RIGHT is the WEST, your LEFT is to the EAST.
It should rise in the SOUTH WEST(ish) and race across the sky and set to the EAST(ish).
(It’s bright enough to see through a thin layer of clouds and from horizon to horizon it should last a few minutes).

I wouldn't bother trying with any duration of one minute or less.

Don't bother with a telescope, the ISS is far too fast.
Your eyes are best (or even binoculars).

Think it was a bit cloudy /too low down for us tonight. Maybe later on we'll have more luck.
